Эсківіяс (ісп.: Esquivias) — муніцыпалітэт у Іспаніі.

Геаграфія[правіць | правіць зыходнік]

Уваходзіць у правінцыю Таледа, у складзе аўтаномнай супольнасці Кастылія — Ла-Манча. Муніцыпалітэт знаходзіцца ў складзе раёна (камаркі) Ла-Сагра. Займае плошчу 25 км². Насельніцтва — 5376 чалавек (на 2010). Адлегласць да адміністрацыйнага цэнтра правінцыі — 42 км.

Гісторыя[правіць | правіць зыходнік]

29 кастрычніка 1939 года падчас грамадзянскай вайны Эсківіяс і суседняя Сесенья сталі месцам узброенага сутыкнення паміж прыхільнікамі Франсіска Франка з аднаго боку, і рэспубліканскай арміяй з атрадам савецкіх ваенных спецыялістаў з другога. Бой атрымаў шырокую вядомасць за кошт першага прымянення Т-26[3] і першага ў гісторыі танкавага тарана[4].
