Deutsch: Strophantussamenpflanze. A blühender Zweig von Strophanthus hispidus D. C., natürl. Grösse; B desgl. von Strophanthus Kombé Oliv., desgl.; 1 Blumenkrone von Stroph. hispidus, desgl.; 2 dieselbe auseinandergebreitet, desgl.; 3, 4 Blüthe mit Kelch, desgl.; 5—9 innere Blüthentheile (Staubgefässe, Stempel und Fruchtknoten), desgl.; 10 Balgfrucht in 1/2 natürl. Grösse, nach einem Exemplar, welches uns Herr Professor Husemann gütigst übersendet hatte; 10a Same mit Haarkrone, nat. Grösse; 11 u. 12 Samen verschiedener Sorten, ohne Haarkrone, desgl.; 13 ausgebreitete Blumenkrone von Strophanthus Kombé mit abgeschnittenen Zipfeln, desgl.; 13 u. 14 Stempel und Staubgefässe derselben Art, vergrössert.

Русский: Строфант щетинистый. A — цветущая ветвь растения вида Stroph. hispidus; B — то же для растения вида Stroph. Kombé; 1 — венчик растения вида Stroph. hispidus; 2 — то же в разрезанном и развернутом виде; 3, 4 — цветок с чашечкой; 5—9 — внутренние части цветка (тычинки, пестик и завязь); 10 — плод; 10a — семя с летучкой; 11 и 12 — семя различных сортов, без летучки; 13 — разрезанный венчик растения вида Stroph. Kombé с отрезанными верхними частями лепестков; 14 и 15 — пестик и тычинки растения того же вида.
