Floyer check and record readings at the navigation table on the bridge of the guided-missile destroyer USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81). Floyer, Churchill's navigator, is filling the only permanent position for a foreign exchange officer on a U.S. warship. Winston S. Churchill is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Enduring Freedom.
