Сеговія (ісп.: Segovia) — горад у Іспаніі з насельніцтвам каля 55 тысяч жыхароў. З’яўляецца адміністрацыйным цэнтрам аднайменнай правінцыі Сеговія ў Кастыліі і Леоне. Сеговія знаходзіцца за 90 км на паўночны захад ад Мадрыда на скалістым узвышша паміж рэкамі Эрэсма і Кламорэс. Нараўне з Таледа і Авілай гэта адзін з трох гарадоў-музеяў, размешчаных паблізу іспанскай сталіцы. З 1985 года Сеговія ўключана ў спіс Сусветнай спадчыны ЮНЕСКА.

Гісторыя

Першапачаткова на тэрыторыі сучаснаый Сеговіі жылі кельцкія плямёны, з цягам часу мясцовасць апынулася пад уладай рымлян. У 80 да н.э. годзе быў заснаваны горад. Падчас рымскага перыяду паселішча належала аднаму са шматлікіх сучасных лацінскіх манастыроў. Лічыцца, што горад быў закінуты пасля ўварвання маўраў у Іспанію. Пасля заваёвы Таледа Альфонса VI Сеговія пачала засяляцца хрысціянамі з паўночнай часткі паўвострава і з-за Пірэнеяў.

Сеговія ляжала на гандлёвых шляхах, што зрабіла яе важным цэнтрам гандлю тэкстылем. У канцы Сярэднявечча горад перажываў свой залаты век, у горадзе павялічылася колькасць яўрэйскага насельніцтва. Характэрна, што Ізабела I была абвешчана каралевай Кастыліі ў царкве Сан-Мігель-дэ-Сеговія 13 снежня 1474 года.
